Exclusive Memory Chapter 5 Part 3

When we woke up in the morning, Bai Lin nudged me with her elbow: "What dream did you have last night? You slept until midnight, and I heard you talking in your sleep alone."

"Really?" I washed my face.

"Really. And certainly not memorizing words." She said seriously. The fact that we took the fourth major exam in our sophomore year used to drive us crazy. When I am stressed, I love to talk in my dreams, and it is said that my dream words are full of English words that I memorized that day...

I tilted my head and thought about it seriously, "It seems that I dreamed that you and Senior Brother Li were married, and then you insisted on it at the wedding, 'Stuff me with bouquets'. ”

Bai Lin glared at me, and said viciously, "You're looking for smoke, right?"

As the exams approached and the number of self-study people in the library increased, there was a tense and oppressive atmosphere everywhere. I read a few pages of the textbook, started to feel a little sleepy, and took out my diary to write.

I used to think that I must be different from other humans in the world, and I probably had abilities that others did not have. For example, I will be smarter than others, maybe I have a special talent that has not been discovered in some way, maybe I will have the fate of saving the earth, and I even think that maybe one day I will be favored by alien creatures like Kaguya-hime.

These weird thoughts made me firmly believe that I am so different, until I met Mu Chenghe.

His appearance made me realize that I am an ordinary human being and he is the only one.

My outlook on life and my sense of self-worth were disillusioned.

It is said that if what we see is a car, what a highly intelligent person will see is the working principle of the engine in the car. So I wondered if he was counting how fast the saliva molecules coming out of my mouth were flying to his face every second when I was talking to him.

Alas—unknowingly, it has turned to Mu Chenghe again.

I took out my mobile phone, bit the tip of my pen, thought for a long time but couldn't find an excuse to send him a text message.

Bai Lin glanced at me, and said mysteriously, "Little girl, you're just beginning to fall in love."

"Blah blah."

Before the last two Russian classes of this period, Chen Ting and Mu Chenghe unexpectedly appeared downstairs at the same time.

Bai Lin and I were a little surprised when we met them, and said in unison: "Teacher Chen, are you back?"

"En." Chen Ting smiled softly, "Did you mess with Teacher Mu?"

I glanced at Mu Chenghe, and said with a guilty conscience: "How dare we, he is much more fierce than you."

In the end, it was Mu Chenghe who came to class.

He walked up to the podium, finished talking about the idea of the exam, and then he said, "This is the last lesson I give to my classmates."

Everyone was stunned, and then they began to understand that he said that it was not a winter vacation, but that he would no longer substitute for us, and then it became noisy.

With tears in his eyes, fellow Xiaobai pulled up Bai Lin's sleeve and wiped away her tears.

Bai Lin said angrily, "Why are you feeling sad, isn't there Chen Ting? Didn't you think Chen Ting was very nice before?"

Fellow Xiaobai said melancholy: "But since I saw our Chenghe, I have no interest in your teacher Chen. No wonder the ancients said: It is difficult to go from extravagance to frugality. It turns out that is the reason."

During the class break, Mu Chenghe returned to the office, and I happened to be about to return the original copies of the printed materials last time. Walking to the door, I just heard Chen Ting's voice, so it turned out that he hadn't left either.

I smiled and was about to go in, but I heard my name in their conversation. My ears are naturally good, so I stopped in curiosity.

"This kid is quite interesting." This was Mu Chenghe's voice.

"She was like that at home, and I was quite worried when I left. I was afraid that when I was gone, there would be no adults to take care of her difficulties." Chen Ting said.

"Actually, she is much stronger than we imagined." Mu Chenghe said.

A cold wind blew in the hallway, messing up the bangs on my forehead.

At the same time, my heart is also a little messy.

It turned out that Mu Chenghe knew everything.

Everything was misunderstood by me.

He was special to me from the beginning, but he took care of me instead of Chen Ting. It's not at all what I, Bai Lin, and they mistakenly think.

My hand hangs down feebly, and I feel several feelings in my heart.

It turned out that it was just self-indulgence.

How could such an excellent person be tempted by a young "child". I twitched the corner of my mouth self-deprecatingly, trying to smile, but I couldn't pull out that difficult arc no matter what.

They said something more, probably about me.

But I didn't have the mood to listen any more. I turned half of my body and leaned my back against the wall lightly, feeling a little weak all over my body. With a release of five fingers, the two pages of information fell to the ground.

Most of the final materials that Mu Chenghe gave me were typed out, but some important remarks in it were handwritten by him later. I was selfishly keeping the original, and now I'm giving him a copy. If he asks, I've already thought about the answer on the way here, and if I accidentally lost it, he won't mind if I think about it.

The only two text messages he sent me were stored in my mobile phone. The first one is: You're welcome. The second is: no problem.

Last time I went to listen to his lectures, I brought back the speech with his introduction printed on the title page and I also put it in my diary.

What else? There is none left.

I slowly squatted down to pick up those few pages. The light from the office almost illuminated my hand, I quickly picked up something and put my hand back.

Then I heard Chen Ting say another word.

Because he paused for a long time before speaking, even if I didn't pay attention, I could hear clearly.

Chen Ting said: "Chenghe, don't project all the care you didn't get when you were a child on her because of some similarities in the family."
