Exclusive Memory Chapter 11 Part 2

Hello everyone, sorry for the delay in update, I had a very busy week!

At the end of the month, I went to the hospital to see my grandfather, and the old man's health was deteriorating day by day. It wasn't time for dinner, and it happened that the caregiver and grandma were not there. I couldn't help but sit on the edge of his bed and say a lot of private things.

Later, when the nurse came to take his temperature, I suddenly remembered that Mu Chenghe was still waiting for me downstairs.

These days suddenly cooled down, autumn and summer alternate, the hospital was overcrowded, and people with influenza are everywhere. Mu Chenghe waited for me in the waiting hall for more than an hour.

I hurriedly apologized to him: "I lost track of time.”

"Don't worry, it's raining outside anyway."

When we got home, he had a cold. His symptoms were different from those of ordinary people, and he had a fever without any warning.

But he tried his best not to admit that he had a fever, and only said that he was a little dizzy.

I touched his forehead, "It's much hotter than my hand."

"That's your cold hands."

"You need to take medicine, you must have a fever."

"No, don't need it." He is extremely childish in this matter.

It is so difficult to get him to take a medicine, and it is even more impossible to take him to a clinic. If he knew that he was this kind of sponge that sucks viruses, he should have paid attention early.

I finally remembered that last New Year's Eve he dared not take medicine indiscriminately, but he definitely didn't want to take it, so he made up a reason to scare me.

In the past, there was no thermometer at home, so my father would kiss my forehead with his mouth, and he could immediately test whether my body temperature was too high. I suddenly remembered this method, put down the cup in my hand, and put my lips on his forehead without much hesitation.

Very hot.

"You really have a fever." I concluded.

Unexpectedly, he didn't refute at all, but froze for a moment, his cheeks turned red in an instant.

The cold caused him to get tinnitus, and the next morning, Mu Chenghe suddenly received a call asking him to go on a business trip. At that time, he was lying on the bed, not daring to move.

But he said to the other side of the phone: "Okay, no problem." Without the slightest hesitation.

I stood at the door and looked at him, sighing slightly.

So, during the busiest period when I had to pick up freshmen for registration, Mu Chenghe had to go on a business trip again, which seemed like a daunting task, and this time he would not come back until the National Day. Coincidentally, I also have to accompany the freshmen to the outskirts of the city for military training.

In this way, we were both away from home.

"You're fine. You pat your ass and leave. You don't stay at A city anyway, but Mu Chenghe is miserable. There's more." Bai Lin said, "I let my senior brother know a little and told them how you deal with them. Teacher Mu is so sweet, I haven't even said anything about it yet, looking at him like that, his eyes are popping out. It seems that the one you are in love with is not Mu Chenghe, but his wife."

I couldn't help laughing.

Bai Lin accompanied me to buy some necessities for military training, and then drove me back to work. When I passed a corner, I said, "Stop, stop."

She turned the steering wheel half a circle and pulled the car aside, "How's it going?"

"Zhang Lili." I said.

Not how weird Zhang Lili was there, and she was flirting with a guy.

"The one that lives with you?" Bai Lin asked.

"Well, who is that man?"

Zhang Lili was crying and arguing with the locals on the side of the road.

"Who else could it be? Either the current boyfriend or the ex-boyfriend, otherwise how could he cry so heartbreakingly." Bai Lin said that it had nothing to do with her.

At this time, the man broke free from Zhang Lili's hand and left resolutely. After walking five or six steps, he turned around and said something to Zhang Lili. Zhang Lili squatted on the ground and began to cry, with people looking sideways from time to time.

"Aren't you going to comfort your roommate?" Bai Lin asked.

"Forget it, maybe she doesn't want others to see it," I said.

In the evening, Zhang Lili just came back, her face was very delicately made up, she was very happy, and there was no trace of crying at all. She bought a lot of clothes, snacks, and even braised vegetables for supper. She usually buys clothes and bags. It costs money, but it is very economical when it comes to food. Just the opposite of me.

"Xue Tong, have supper," she said.

"Why do you buy so much?"

"Military training is tomorrow. If I don't eat now, where can I go for a toothbrush festival? I'll go buy beer." After she finished speaking, she picked up her wallet and went downstairs to the small supermarket before I could speak.

How could she be willing to use this money at ordinary times? Don't look at the clothes, in fact, every dollar has to be weighed. The pickles her mother sent her last time, if I hadn't thrown it away in a fit of anger, she might have eaten them for several days.

I looked at those chicken wings, duck necks, and sighed.

Before drinking two bottles of beer, Zhang Lili became drunk, her tongue started to get knotted, and she stuttered a little. I persuaded her to stop, but I was afraid that she would drink again, so I coaxed her and said, "Let's punch and drink."

"How... row?"

"Rock paper scissors, you drink if you win, and I drink if you lose."

"Good."

"It's not necessary to win three games and win two games, one game is one cup."

"Oh." She hiccupped.

Game 1: I play scissors, she plays rock.

"I lost, I drink." I said.

The second game: I play cloth, she does not play stone.

"If I win you, I'll drink." I said.

She tilted her head and looked at her fist, "No."

"What's wrong?" I drank a glass in a few gulps, wiped my mouth and said to her, "I won you, I'll drink it, right?"

"Yes."

"I lost, if you don't drink, I will drink, right?"

"Yep."

"Then what's wrong?"

"Oh, I was wrong."

After going back and forth like this several times, I almost drank the pile of beer by myself .

She lay down on the table and became bored.

"Xue...Tong."

"What for?"

"He... looked down on me, agreed... I graduated and stayed in City A, and he married me to..., but he also fell in love with someone better than me."

It turned out to be like this .

"Am I a countryman...? I'm not... Why does their family despise me?"

"My mother is a...farmer, but my father was also a village teacher...teacher before he was fired."

"My younger brother didn't dare to spend money on medical treatment in order to go to college with me."

"I'm not smart, but I'm hardworking. I took two exams..." She made a two-point gesture with her fingers, "It took two exams to come to a big city."

"I don't...should hang up on my mother's phone. She is paralyzed on the bed, just eager to have a few phone calls with me."

She picked up the glass again and went to pour the wine.

This time, I didn't stop her.

She took a sip and touched her tear-stained face, "Yo-why am I crying, so fucking... so fucking hypocritical."

Later, when I put Zhang Lili on the bed, I felt so aggrieved in my chest. So, I closed the door alone and walked around the campus. When the night wind blows, most of my wine is also sober.

At this time, Mu Chenghe actually called. He walked for four days, and his body was fine. He was probably young and recovering quickly. It's just that I vaguely feel that his hearing in the left ear seems to decline after every attack.

He didn't mind it at all.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"At the dormitory, downstairs."

"Bad mood?"

"A little bit."

"What's wrong?"

"I wish to have someone with one heart and one mind, and never leave the man." I said.
